Sue Thomson (1944-2013)

I first got in touch with Sue many years ago after requesting one of the Kilmorack publications. We discovered that Sue and John's daughter Heather lived very close to me in Suffolk. This meant we were able to visit each other either when I went up to Inverness or when they came down to Suffolk.

The most extraordinary thing we discovered is that not only had John and Sue been stationed at RAF Mildenhall in the 1960's but that my husband Michael was stationed there at the same time.

We send our sympathies, both personal and on behalf of the Clan Chisholm Society to John and daughters Sharon and Heather and their families. A donation on behalf of the branch Clan Chisholm Society has been made to The Aird Medical Practice. Ben and Juliette have also made a private donation to Munlochy Animal Rescue Home from where Sue got her dog Holly who Ben would often take for walks.

The funeral took place on Wednesday 9th January at Beauly Church of Scotland and the service was conducted by family friend the Very Reverend Allan Maclean before interment at Kilmorack.
