About Pat
Patricia Kingrey traces her family's heritage to both Ireland and Scotland.
Born in Barren County, Kentucky, Pat spent most of her childhood on the farm just south of Glasgow, Kentucky, where she and her husband William Leonard Kingrey now live, after spending 40 years in different parts of Kentucky and Indiana. She and Leonard were married in 1956, and have two sons, William Ross Kingrey, who lives in Indiana, and Robert Shawn Kingrey, who lives in Tennessee. They also have three grandchildren, William Jacob Kingrey, Kyle Ross Kingrey, and Amelia Elizabeth Kingrey.
As a stay-at-home mom and homemaker, Pat served as a Cub Scout Den Mother, hosted a nature club for the children in her neighborhood, and was active in homemakers and garden clubs. Pat also worked as a volunteer with the schools and her church, and had the privilege of creating the displays for the 200th birthday of her church, cake and all!
Pat's hobbies include gardening, photography, decorating, creative crafts, stained glass, working on family trees, and putting together scrapbooks of family photos.
Pat's family has been active in the Clan Chisholm Society since the early 1980s. In 1995, Pat was elected US Branch Treasurer, a position she held until July 2006. She continues to serve the US Branch as Mail Order Coordinator for Clan Chisholm novelty items, and she often hosts Clan Chisholm tents with her husband Leonard at the Western Kentucky Highland Festival, the Heart of Tennessee Scottish Celebration, and the Glasgow Highland Games in Kentucky.
