About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Flockton (nee Watson) was born in Sydney and has spent most of her life in the Parramatta area, a major centre in Sydney's west.
She has been a member of the Clan Chisholm Society since birth. She became Secretary of the Australia Branch in 1979, following Miriam Chisholm, and President in 1996 after her father, Ken Watson who retired as president after 39 years! Elizabeth is the eldest of Ken and Ruth's three daughters, all of whom are members of the Society.
On 28th April, 2001 Elizabeth married Ron Flockton, acquiring a new life for herself and (incidentally) a new treasurer for the Australia Branch.
Elizabeth is a triple-certificated Enrolled Nurse, specialising in mental health and mothercraft, working with mums with post-natal depression and their babies. She and Ron met while nursing.
Elizabeth is a devoted worker for our Australia Branch and a keen traveller. She and Ron have started exploring Australia and intend to continue exploring our vast and wonderful country. She has also travelled extensively in UK, visiting Scotland in 1981, where she met many members of the Society and explored the Clan lands.
